Chiropractic is recognized as one of the safest non-invasive manual therapies. It requires no drugs or surgery and enables the body to heal itself naturally. Chiropractors excel at diagnosing and treating neuromusculoskeletal conditions and are most known for performing spinal joint manipulation called an adjustment. An adjustment restores proper movement to a joint that was previously stuck, restoring proper biomechanics to the body. The increased movement allows your nervous system to become more active, stimulating muscles and other tissues. Traditionally, Chiropractors are known for adjusting the spine; they can however treat all joints including wrists, hips and shoulders.

We offer hands on techniques including Diversified, Gonstead, Thompson and Flexion Distraction. We offer low force instrument assisted adjusting techniques as well.

All practicing Chiropractors in Ontario are licensed and regulated through the College of Chiropractors of Ontario.
When is Chiropractic Necessary?
Our bodies are supposed to move and function in a certain way. These ideal biomechanics can become compromised from repeptitive motions such as sitting at a desk all day or a muscle strain from a sports injury. Chiropractic is great for injuries, chronic pain, enhancing performance and injury prevention. The sooner you seek treatment after an injury, the more responsive to the treatment you will be. It is easier to remodel the new tissue as it is being created than to remodel it once the injury has fully healed.

No. Our goal is to help you reach your health goals whether it be to reduce pain, prevent pain or enhance performance. Your health goals along with your presenting symptoms and health status will help dictate the length of treatment needed. If your goal is to simply get out of pain then your treatment plan typically varies from two weeks to four months based on your condition.

Do I have to keep going to a Chiropractor once I start going?
ART® is a state of the art form of massage therapy that incorporates manual pressure and patient movement, each treatment protocol is specific to a certain muscle to maximize the treatment's effectiveness. It is used to treat problems with muscles, tendons, ligaments, fascia and nerves. The treatment targets adhesions that form between these structures, helping treat the muscular components of sciatica, carpal tunnel, headaches and more. It is the gold standard for repetitive strain injuries.

RRT is a hand held vibrational tool used to target and treat soft tissue conditions. This treatment device is the only tool that uses resonance frequency to target scar tissue increasing blood flow to the area. This releases tension and promotes healing.
