Dr. Jamie Cranston completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Guelph graduating with a Bachelor of Science majoring in Human Kinetics with honours. She then ventured down to Davenport, IA to complete her Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic. Dr Cranston grew up playing numerous sports therefore sports injuries and chiropractic has always appealed to her. Staying active is a big part of her life therefore soft tissue treatments and rehabilitation sparked her interest creating a more holistic approach to treatment.
While at Palmer she assisted faculty at the Palmer Center for Chiropractic Research Centre focusing on the physiological response of pain processing in the thalamus of the brain after a chiropractic adjustment and was subsequently published in Experimental Brain Research a peer reviewed scientific journal covering research in neuroscience. She is always trying to keep current on the newest medical research.

Dr. Cranston treats people of all ages and has an interest in treating active individuals. While attending Palmer she was a member of the Palmer Sports Outreach Program treating athletes of the Quad City Marathon and Bix 7 road race as well as numerous smaller 5km and 10km races.
Dr. Cranston has an interest in all neuromusculoskeletal disorders and has pursued further education in Active Release Techniques®, a technique that specializes in soft tissue mobilization and treatment. Her approach to health care includes an evidenced based integrative approach consisting of chiropractic adjustments, functional movement assessments, ART® and rehabilitation exercises.
Dr. Cranston is a member of the Ontario Chiropractic Association and the Canadian Chiropractic Association. In her spare time you can find her hiking around the area or playing rec hockey, ball hockey, tennis, kayaking and doing yoga.
